Theresienthal – Kristallmanufaktur
Founded in 1836 as Royal Bavarian Privilleged Glassworks Theresienthal by Franz and Wilhelm Steigerwald. From 1869–1886 King Ludwig II builds his famous castles and palaces and orders a lot of glass from Theresienthal. Today Theresienthal is Germanys most exclusive manufacturer of luxury glassware.

Founded 40 years ago by Hungarian-born designer and architect Peter Ghyczy in Holland, Ghyczy is famous for the "Garden Egg Chair".
